Great atmosphere, and even better food! You will wait a little bit for your food, but it did seem like a small operation so it's understandable.

Wonderful food and service. It was slower service than most are used to, but you have to understand that is part of the joy of this place.

Interesting place. Right down the block from my work. Good food. Kinda expected more lamb flavor from the lamb as it is a delicious meat and part of my culture but not knocking the food at all. Love the place and the environment

Great food and a fun place for group dining. Very slow service so not a place to go if you're in a hurry!

Take it from someone who lived in DC for 4+ years and has tried every Ethiopian restaurant in the DC area -- this gem in Denver is one of the best I've ever had! The vegetarian combination is absolutely divine. The injera has a perfect zest. It's these subtle little things that make a difference for me. I can't wait to come back and try the honey wine and tibbs! Heimi is an incredible and attentive host. If you're looking for a fancy sit-down place this isn't for you, but if you're looking for soulful food that is made with love this place is for you!

Very friendly hostess and the food was very flavorful and not too spicy for those concerned their mouth would be on fire. Prices are also very reasonable.

I thought the prices were on par with other Ethiopian restaurants for dinner. Basically $14 a plate for a meat and two vegetables Plus injira. Wine was $6 a glass. We showed up early not realizing they closed between lunch and dinner because it wasn't listed that way on their Google hours, but they were very kind in serving us anyway. We would definitely go back again.

Great food. Nice ambiance. Our family has been dining here for 10+ years. Always friendly staff. All dishes prepared when ordered. This takes time but well worth the wait. You wonÒ€ℒt be disappointed.

Very nice host, injera is with just a little Tef, mostly wheat, not very spicy food.

My husband and I have been visiting this great restaurant since it was located on Colfax. This is a wonderful locally-owned business with authentic regional food. The owner does an excellent job with service and cooking. For those not used to non-American dining experiences, the flavors and method of service may come as a shock. Those who are open-minded, welcoming of new experiences, and open to different cultures will love it. Others will post reviews like the one from Ryan Taft below.

The food is above average and good atmosphere. Hours of operation do not match the sign in the window.

I shared a platter with friends and was not disappointed. I've had Ethiopian food at a few places in Chicago before, and this absolutely lived up to my expectations. Sit down and prepare for a flavor explosion!

Delicious food and wonderful service. The food is so tasty. We got the spicy chicken. My favorite sides are the greens and curry, unfortunately I cannot remember the name. I hope that I can come back the next time I visit Denver!

Food was pretty good. It seemed that the vegetables in a couple of the vegetarian dishes we're from a can . It was late I'm sure they had to microwave our individual orders. Not sure if I'll go back but that does not mean it's not worth going to. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Deliciously authentic Ethiopian food. If haven't had Ethiopian food before, you must try it, but be prepared to eat with your hands. Trust me, with the quality of the bread that comes with it, you'll want to anyway.

Ethiopian food manages to be rather consistant across all the different cities I've had it, but the lentils were particularly well seasoned. And very friendly service!

AMAZING food, however, service was slow. Server didn't come around very often. They also served us meat sombusas even though we ordered the veggie ones. This wasn't great because we are vegetarian.

Food was great. It is on the pricey side, but wow, it was tasty. However, it felt a bit dirty and gross inside. There was dust and hair all over the chairs and the menus were stained and sticky.

I don't know. There is vegetarian and vegan.

All of their vegetarian dishes are vegan. Only dairy is in the cottage cheese. Enjoy?
